Roger Ascham (pronounced Askham), from whom the club takes its name, was born in 1515 and lived for part of his life in what is now Waltham Forest.
The Ascham Bowmen Archery Club shoot every Sunday in the grounds of Forest School, E17 3PY, in the summer we also shoot on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
